林露湘，男，1978年10月出生，中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园热带森林生态学重点实验室研究员、博士生导师。主持或参加国家重大科学研究计划项目、国家重点研发计划、中国科学院科技服务网络计划、国家自然科学基金面上项目、中国科学院东南亚生物多样性研究中心区域性国际合作基金项目、中国科学院“西部之光”人才培养引进计划、中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园“一三五”专项重大突破等多项课题。多年来一直从事基于森林固定样地平台的群落构建与物种共存机制研究，致力于将近地面遥感、高通量测序等新技术引入群落生态学研究，开展多尺度、多营养级和多维度的群落物种共存机制的学科交叉研究。目前担任中国科学院热带森林生态学重点实验室群落构建与物种共存研究组组长、中国科学院热带雨林生态系统研究站站长、中国生态学会长期生态研究专业委员会委员、中国科学院青年联合会第四界委员。以第一作者或通讯作者在Ecology Letters、Ecology、Journal of Ecology、Functional Ecology等国际著名生态学期刊上发表多篇论文。近年来发表的代表性重要论文（*通讯作者）如下：
